He finished 3 strokes ahead of second-place Hayden Buckley (USA). The top five in this tournament earned their PGA Tour cards for the 2025 season.
Griffin showcased perfect play with no bogeys, recording 1 eagle and 5 birdies. He debuted on the PGA Tour in 2018 and won the Houston Open in 2019. Although he participated in 22 tournaments this year, he only made one top-10 finish. His FedEx Cup ranking was 171st, causing him to lose his tour card. Griffin demonstrated excellent crisis management skills at Q School. Over four days, his scrambling ability?making par or better when missing the green?was 80%, ranking first in this category.
Griffin wielded Titleist equipment and displayed outstanding short game skills. His wedges were Titleist Vokey Design SM10 models in 46, 50, 54, and 60 degrees. He used the 2025 Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, which is scheduled for release next year. His putter was the SeeMore FGP C, with which he made 14 birdies. During the four rounds, his putts per hole when hitting the green were 1.75 (tied for 27th).
