Masayoshi Son, chairman of Japan's SoftBank Group, is reported to announce a $100 billion (143.6 trillion won) investment plan in the United States.
On the 16th (local time), US CNBC cited multiple sources saying that Chairman Son plans to make the announcement after meeting with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
In addition, Son is expected to release a joint statement with President-elect Trump pledging to create 100,000 jobs related to artificial intelligence (AI) and infrastructure development.
