[Weather] Seoul 'Clear' with Snow and Rain in Western Areas... Morning Low of -9°C

On the 17th, the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province will be mostly clear. However, Chungbuk and the Gyeongsang region will have occasional clouds, and Chungnam, Jeolla regions, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -9 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures between 1 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Snow and rain that started falling the previous day will continue until dawn in the southern Chungcheong region, Jeonbuk, and the southwestern inland of Gyeongnam, and until the morning on the western coast of Jeonnam. Snow or rain will begin late at night on the western coasts of Chungnam and Jeolla.

Additionally, snow flurries or rain are expected in the southwestern inland of Gyeongnam, other parts of the Gyeongbuk region, and the Jeolla region.

Expected snowfall amounts are 1 to 5 cm in the Chungcheong region, inland Jeonbuk, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and around 1 cm in northern Gyeongbuk, southwestern inland, and northwestern inland of Gyeongnam.

Rainfall amounts will be around 5 mm in southern Gyeonggi and Chungcheong regions, less than 5 mm on the western coast of Jeonbuk and Jeonnam, and on Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and about 1 mm in the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern and southwestern inland of Gyeongbuk, and northwestern inland of Gyeongnam.

Meanwhile, fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
