Buan-gun "Please Pay December Regular Automobile Tax"

1.73 Billion Won Imposed... Deadline Until the 31st

On the 16th, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk announced that it has imposed and notified 1,1072 cases of regular automobile tax for December 2024, amounting to 1.73 billion KRW.

The taxpayer is the owner registered in the automobile registration ledger as of December 1, and this automobile tax is for the ownership period from July 1 to December 31. Vehicles that have already paid the annual automobile tax in advance this year or vehicles with an annual tax amount of 100,000 KRW or less are excluded from this tax.

The payment deadline is until the 31st of this month, and payment methods include paying with the tax bill at all financial institutions nationwide or paying by cash or credit card through CD/ATM machines without the tax bill. Additionally, payments can be made conveniently through various methods such as internet payment via Wetax and Smart Wetax, virtual accounts at NongHyup Bank, and local tax revenue account transfers.

A county official stated, “Automobile tax is a valuable autonomous revenue source fully used for the development of the county area, and we hope taxpayers pay within the deadline to avoid disadvantages such as late payment penalties due to overdue payments.”
