Silla University WB MICE Hub Project Group Holds 'Seobusan the Attractive MICE UV' Forum

The ‘WB MICE Hub Seobusan, the Attractive MICE UV’ forum, promoted as an RIS autonomous project, will be held on January 23rd next year from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Unique Venue 523 in Seobusan.


This forum is jointly hosted by Busan City, Busan Technopark, and the Shilla University WB MICE Hub Project Group. About 50 participants are expected, including representatives from Busan City, Busan Technopark, Busan Research Institute, Busan Tourism Organization, BEXCO Co., Ltd., related university (graduate) students, and Busan citizens.


The forum will serve as a serious deliberation platform to develop UVs (Unique Venues) in the Seobusan area and seek ways to revitalize the MICE industry. Experts from government, industry, and academia will be invited to share ideas and advice, and discussions will be held to fully activate MICE in the Seobusan region.


Lee Young-gi, Team Leader of the Tourism MICE Industry Division at Busan City, will present on the topic of ‘Busan Tourism and MICE Policies and Issues,’ and Ha Kyung-jun, Research Fellow at the Future Strategy Office of Busan Research Institute, will speak on ‘Opportunities and Directions for the MICE Industry’s Location in Seobusan.’


Additionally, Lee Min-seok, CEO of LNP, will present on ‘Development and Utilization of Seobusan Unique Venue MICE Content,’ and Yoon Young-hye, Professor at Dongduk Women’s University, will discuss ‘Seobusan Unique Venue Cooperation Network Strategy.’


Kim Jeong-eun, Head of the Shilla University WB MICE Hub Project Group, emphasized, “We plan to lay the groundwork for transforming and expanding the Busan MICE industry ecosystem from East Busan to Seobusan through the discovery and promotion of WB MICE Unique Venues.”


Kim also stated, “We will create a MICE growth ecosystem by discovering the characteristics and spaces of the Seobusan area and build a network to expand the region.”

Silla University WB MICE Hub Project Group Holds 'Seobusan the Attractive MICE UV' Forum Last November, the West Busan MICE Unique Venue Contest was held at Silla University, where Kim Jeong, head of the WB MICE Hub Project Group at Silla University, delivered a greeting.
