Posting the Eighth Empathy Bulletin Board
with a New Year's Message of Hope
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 16th that it has posted the eighth Empathy Message Board, containing a hopeful New Year's message, on the exterior wall of its headquarters so that local residents can easily see it.
The posting of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Empathy Message Board was planned based on part of President Ye Gyeongtak’s idea of a “warm bank with fragrance” to deliver a message of hope to local residents and the community and to share and inspire cultural sensibility.
The eighth Empathy Message Board features the phrase “Receiving again, like a snow prelude, a bright white sheet of hope” along with a winter scene with falling snow.
The phrase on the Empathy Message Board is excerpted from a poem titled “Towards the New Year” by poet Lim Youngjo (born 1943).
It mainly deals with the excitement and anticipation of welcoming the New Year and conveys the message that everyone can start anew on equal footing.
Choi Dae-sik, head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, said, “We have put our hopes into the Empathy Message Board that all local residents and customers who have sent love and support to BNK Gyeongnam Bank this year will finish 2024 well and greet the coming New Year with hope. As a financial institution representing the region, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to grow together with the local community and carry out various social contribution activities.”
Meanwhile, apart from posting the eighth Empathy Message Board, BNK Gyeongnam Bank installed a “Light of Hope” decoration on the exterior wall of its headquarters so that local residents can enjoy a joyful and warm year-end and New Year atmosphere.
The Light of Hope decoration, combined with the “BNK Gyeongnam Bank Clock Sculpture” installed on the founding anniversary last May, will welcome local residents and customers at the main entrance of BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters until the end of January next year.
