National Pukyong University Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Center Hosts 'Neulbom School·Education Donation Expo' Experience Event

The Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center at Pukyong National University (Director: Lee Sang-gil) held an education donation experience event at the ‘2024 Neulbom School & Education Donation Expo’ hosted by the Ministry of Education, which took place over three days from the 13th to the 15th at KINTEX in Ilsan.

This expo was held in the form of the Neulbom World theme park, introducing and providing hands-on experiences with various Neulbom and education donation programs.

At the expo, the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center at Pukyong National University operated experience programs such as △ making upcycled keyrings using plastic bottle caps and △ creating personalized marine life Shrinkles keyrings, offering participants an opportunity to reflect on environmental issues.

In particular, students from Pukyong National University’s ornamental fish club P.A.R.K., who have continuously participated in ecological and environmental education donations, led the operation of the experience booth and exhibited an ornamental fish tank decorated with a Christmas concept, attracting the attention of children, students, and parents.

Additionally, various events were held to promote the achievements of the 2024 education donation and Neulbom School first-grade customized program operation project conducted this year, as well as to publicize education donation and contributions to the local community.

In this expo activity, the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center received souvenir support from its partner organization Samjin Fish Cake, and Griffin Art, Maumhyanggi Psychological Counseling Center, Nolit Co., Ltd., and Humon Lab also participated.

Designated by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center was established within Pukyong National University in 2023. It strives to discover educational resources and reduce educational disparities between regions by forming a collaborative education donation network with the local community.
