Jinan-gun, 'Hometown Love Donation' Event Until the 31st

Popular Return Gifts Provided Including Stickkkul and Twirung

Jinan-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 16th that it will hold the 'Hometown Love Donation Year-end Event' until the 31st.

This event was prepared to increase interest and participation in the Jinan-gun Hometown Love Donation by providing additional benefits to donors during the year-end season when interest in year-end tax settlements rises.

To participate, donors who contribute 100,000 KRW or more to the county through online (Hometown Love e-Eum) or offline (NH Nonghyup) channels and order a thank-you gift will be automatically entered into the event. Among the participants, 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive one of three popular thank-you gifts (Stick Honey, Twirung, Saessak Samtteokgalbi) in addition to the existing benefits.

The winners will be notified individually in January next year after the event ends.

County Governor Jeon Chun-seong said, "We have prepared a special event to promote both the Hometown Love Donation and agricultural specialty products produced in Jinan at the end of the year," adding, "We hope for active participation and interest in this event for the revitalization of the Hometown Love Donation and regional development."

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually (20 million KRW from 2025) to local governments other than their place of residence, receiving tax deductions and thank-you gifts worth up to 30%. Donations up to 100,000 KRW are fully tax-deductible, and amounts exceeding 100,000 KRW receive a 16.5% tax deduction.
