The donated sterilized milk will be delivered to low-income families and child welfare facilities within Yeoncheon-gun, providing a warm year-end gift to neighbors facing economic difficulties. The sterilized milk, being highly nutritious and having a long shelf life, is expected to greatly aid the healthy growth of children during winter and supplement the nutrition of vulnerable groups.
At the donation ceremony, Head Lee Jun-seok said, “I am pleased that 127 dairy farms have come together to practice a small but meaningful sharing in the local community,” adding, “We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities for the development and coexistence of the community to maintain warm sharing.”
Kim Deok-hyun, Mayor of Yeoncheon-gun, expressed deep gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank Head Lee and the members of the Dairy Livestock Division of Seoul Milk in Yeoncheon-gun for their continuous interest and sharing for low-income groups every year,” and added, “The donation will be carefully delivered to neighbors who are having an even harder time due to the cold winter.”
