Hampyeong-gun "Pay Your 2024 Regular Automobile Tax"

1.198 Billion KRW Imposed... Deadline Until the 31st

On the 16th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has imposed the 2024 regular automobile tax on 7,780 cases (1.198 billion KRW).

The county imposed automobile tax on 25,600 vehicles registered in Hampyeong-gun as of December. This second installment excludes vehicles that have already paid the annual tax in advance (annual payment).

The deadline is until the 31st of this month. Payment methods include visiting any financial institution nationwide, account transfer (Nonghyup virtual account, local tax revenue account), and various simple payment apps (Smart WETAX, KakaoPay, Naver, Payco).

County Governor Lee Sang-ik said, “If the payment deadline passes, there will be disadvantages such as a 3% late payment surcharge, so we ask taxpayers to faithfully fulfill their tax obligations within the deadline.”
