This event was planned as an extension of the free table tennis lessons program held in August and September to promote healthy leisure activities for young people.

At the event, about 50 table tennis enthusiasts from Namyangju, including students of the ‘Our Neighborhood Youth Flower House’ table tennis club and young table tennis hobbyists, had a relay mini-game with player Yoo Seung-min, sharing his experiences and communicating with him.

In particular, Yoo Seung-min provided one-on-one coaching on table tennis posture and techniques to the youth, addressing their usual questions and creating a special time.

Former national table tennis player Yoo Seung-min said, “Coming to the table tennis hall feels like coming home. It was a valuable experience to feel the passion of young people who love recreational sports,” and added, “I sincerely hope that young people will continue to achieve their dreams and goals through sports.”

Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City said, “As someone who cherishes recreational sports, I hope this meeting with player Yoo Seung-min was a meaningful time for young people who love table tennis,” and added, “We will continue to promote various programs and projects that reflect the voices of young people.”
