The Goryeong-gun Community Security Council (co-chairmen Namcheol Lee and Jongtae Kim) held the '2024 Eup/Myeon Community Security Council Performance Report Meeting' on the 13th at the Daegaya Cultural Nuri Gayageum Hall.
The performance report meeting was attended by about 130 members of the Eup/Myeon Community Security Council and social welfare officials, and included awards for outstanding Eup/Myeon council members and presentations on region-specific projects.
Eight members, including Byeongok Kim from Daegaya-eup, Pilseon Kim from Deokgok-myeon, Okkyung Lee from Unsu-myeon, Gwonok Lee from Seongsan-myeon, Mallan Bae from Dasan-myeon, Sukja Moon from Gaejin-myeon, Oknam Park from Ugok-myeon, and Geumhee Kang from Ssangnim-myeon, received commendation plaques from the county governor for their contributions to practicing neighborly love and spreading a culture of sharing.
In addition, the Daegaya-eup Community Security Council (co-chairmen Seunguk Baek and Hyunsook Choi), Seongsan-myeon Community Security Council (co-chairmen Seongcheol Seok and Seungjo Yang), and Ugok-myeon Community Security Council (co-chairmen Suchan Han and Youngcheol Lee) were awarded for excellence among Eup/Myeon councils.
Namcheol Lee, Goryeong County Governor, said, “I deeply appreciate the efforts of the Community Security Council members who are actively working to identify and support neighbors in need. We will strive to build a dense welfare network without blind spots based on customized welfare services through public-private cooperation.”
