This purchase consultation event was organized under the slogan “Businesses must survive for Pocheon to thrive” to overcome difficulties caused by the sluggish domestic market and global supply chain instability, and to create new business opportunities through cooperation between SMEs, local public institutions, and large corporations.
On the first day of the consultation, the 19th, purchase consultations between local SMEs and local public institutions will take place, and on the second day, the 20th, purchase consultations with large corporate buyers and distribution buyers will be held. Through one-on-one consultations with pre-matched buyers, SMEs will be provided with direct opportunities to develop new sales channels and time for business networking.
During the event, seminar programs related to distribution marketing for SMEs will be held daily, and a product exhibition will be conducted continuously.
Additionally, various support organizations that assist SMEs, such as KOTRA, Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, and Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, will participate to provide various consulting and counseling on export and other management difficulties faced by SMEs in the field.
A Pocheon City official stated, “We expect that this consultation will create business opportunities between local public institutions and local companies, strengthen the self-sustainability of local companies by pioneering distribution channels for local SMEs, and secure new large corporate clients.”
Meanwhile, the Pocheon Business Center, where the consultation is held, opened this year as a hub facility supporting the regional economy and corporate growth.
