Pocheon-si, Recruiting Participants for Youth Local Administration Experience in the First Half of 2025

Recruiting 100 People Until the 23rd... Announcement on the 27th

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) is recruiting 100 participants for the first half of 2025 Youth Local Government Experience from the 16th to the 23rd.

Eligibility for application includes youths aged 19 to 39 residing in Pocheon City as of the announcement date, as well as high school graduates-to-be. Applications can be submitted online through the Open Plaza bulletin board on the Pocheon City Hall website.

This local government experience program will prioritize selecting 20 youths from the first group, including basic livelihood security recipients, lower-income households, single-parent families, North Korean defectors’ families, and multicultural families. Additionally, 40 youths from multi-child families (families with two or more children, with at least one child under 18) will be separately selected as the second group.

The first term of work is from January 7 to January 31, 2025, and the second term is from February 4 to February 28, 2025, working five days a week (6 hours per day).

Participants will be selected by a computerized lottery conducted in the presence of observers, and the results will be announced on the Pocheon City Hall website’s News bulletin board after 5 p.m. on the 27th.
