Open Until February 2 Next Year... 2,000 Won Per Hour for One Session
Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that the 'Kkumdori Outdoor Skating Rink' will be open at Expo Citizen Plaza from the 20th until February 2 next year.
The outdoor skating rink will feature an ice rink (1,800㎡) built to international short track standards and a sledding area (600㎡). In addition, a play experience zone with attractions such as a mini rail train and UFO bumper cars will be added, creating a space for the whole family to enjoy.
This year, the sledding area, which was very popular among children, will be expanded, and amenities such as a lounge with wide glass walls and artificial turf flooring, as well as an equipment rental station, have been improved to provide a more comfortable environment.
The operating hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays to Thursdays, and until 8:00 p.m. on Fridays to Sundays. The rink is closed on Mondays. The admission fee is 2,000 won per hour per session, and tickets can be purchased in advance via Naver or on-site. Basic livelihood security recipients and people with disabilities can use the facility free of charge.
Yoon Seongguk, President of Daejeon Tourism Organization, said, "We will do our best to make the Expo Citizen Plaza Skating Rink a beloved winter sports destination in Daejeon for all citizens."
