ToGetLocal Signs Dealership Agreement... Exporting to Inno Tokyo Corporation in Japan
Boryeong Mud Cosmetics from Boryeong, Chungnam has entered the Japanese market and will be sold on local shopping malls.
The Boryeong Festival Tourism Foundation announced on the 16th that it signed an agency contract with 2getlocal last month and exported products to the Japanese company Inno Tokyo.
Inno Tokyo will sell two products, the Mud Facial Mask Pack and Mud Cleansing Foam, on its own shopping mall ecinno and the online shopping platform 1998mall.
1998mall is an online shopping platform distributed simultaneously in Japan and China, offering a competitive edge with differentiated categories such as live commerce, live lectures, virtual try-on, and skin check. It recorded sales of 22.2 billion yen in 2022 and 30 billion yen in 2023.
2getlocal Co., Ltd. is a company composed of former executives from large corporations with experience in business strategy and online marketing at Samsung C&T and Cheil Industries.
Boryeong Mud Cosmetics has seen steady sales growth through expanding sales channels, including exporting Boryeong Mud Soap to China in October this year, participating in the China International Import Expo in November, and officially launching on Musinsa Beauty Online in December.
Chairman Kim Dongil stated, "We are working to expand our distribution network so that Boryeong Mud Cosmetics can reach consumers nationwide and overseas," adding, "We will do our best to spread the 29-year tradition and legend of Boryeong Mud, which has been built together by Boryeong citizens, public officials, and stakeholders."
