14 Participants Including Overseas and Domestic Venture Capitals, Accelerators, and Global Support Organizations
Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with 14 major domestic and international startup ecosystem organizations to revitalize ‘MaruSF,’ a Silicon Valley hub being established to support the successful entry of domestic startups into the U.S. market.
This business agreement was prepared with the goal of establishing a cooperative system to activate Korea-U.S. startup ecosystem exchanges centered on ‘MaruSF,’ where Asan Nanum Foundation collaborates with domestic and international venture capitalists, accelerators, and global support organizations, and to provide multifaceted support for the global expansion of startups nurtured by each organization.
The agreement includes participation from leading domestic and overseas venture capitalists and accelerators such as 500 Global, The Ventures, Rabbit Ventures, Murex Partners, Base Ventures, Bluepoint, Strong Ventures, SparkLabs, Crew Capital, Translink Investment, Primer Saje Partners, and FuturePlay. Additionally, global support organizations that help startups grow and develop, such as Google Startup Campus and Amazon Web Services, also participated, sharing plans to provide various networks and resources to revitalize MaruSF together with domestic and international investment institutions partnered with Asan Nanum Foundation.

According to the agreement, each organization will be granted the status of ‘Membership Partner’ and plans to strengthen joint cooperation to revitalize the Silicon Valley hub by ▲ recommending startups for short-term stays at MaruSF ▲ hosting joint events to activate networks within MaruSF ▲ planning programs to promote Korea-U.S. startup ecosystem exchanges. In particular, portfolio companies recommended by these membership partners will be granted the status of ‘Membership Startup,’ which allows future use of MaruSF after a separate internal selection process.
Yoonmi Eom, Chairperson of Asan Nanum Foundation, said, “Through this agreement, we plan to closely connect the Korean and U.S. startup ecosystems with various startup ecosystem organizations centered on MaruSF and strengthen support for startups entering the U.S. market.” She added, “We will continue to expand cooperation to revitalize MaruSF so that early-stage startups challenging the global stage can gain various growth opportunities at MaruSF.”
