Park Sang-woo, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, stated at an emergency executive meeting held at 8:45 PM on the 14th, "Despite the National Assembly's approval of the impeachment motion, all employees must carry out their duties without any hesitation to ensure that the daily lives of the public are not disrupted." He emphasized, "Policies directly related to people's livelihoods, such as housing stability and transportation service innovation, will be consistently pursued as promised to the public." He also stated, "Major policy announcements, key meetings, and events must proceed as scheduled without any setbacks."


The emergency executive meeting was attended by the 1st and 2nd Vice Ministers of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Chairman of the Metropolitan Area Transport Committee, heads of various departments and bureaus, directors of regional land management offices, and directors of regional aviation offices.


Minister Park said, "As the winter cold deepens, warm and meticulous policies are needed to ensure that vulnerable housing groups and field workers such as construction, delivery, and courier workers do not face difficulties." He added, "We will closely cooperate with related associations and organizations to ensure that construction and logistics sites operate without disruption."


He also stated, "To maintain external credibility in the overseas construction market, we must strengthen international cooperation with major countries and actively participate in key international conferences."


Minister Park emphasized, "Public safety must always be the top priority of policies," and urged, "Please ensure thorough safety management of facilities such as roads and railways, as well as aviation security, and establish flawless snow removal measures in preparation for heavy snowfall during the winter season."
