Over 1 Million Participants Estimated by Rally Organizers

Choi (56) said at the rally for President Yoon Suk-yeol's resignation in front of the National Assembly in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 14th, "I simply could not stay at home," emphasizing, "We must impeach no matter what to avoid committing a crime against history. I hope we become a democratic society where young people do not waste their time on such matters."
Oh Hae-chan (29) said, "I came out with the hope of contributing even a little today," and added, "I hope the members of the National Assembly vote on impeachment with their own convictions."
Sung Ga-in (32) said, "The National Assembly should make decisions with the people in mind. I hope they come to their senses," and added, "We should become a country where ordinary people do not suffer in such bitter cold."
The rally organizer, 'Emergency Action for Immediate Resignation of Yoon Suk-yeol and Major Social Reform,' reported that over one million people attended that day. The police's unofficial estimate was 200,000 people.
