At the rally calling for President Yoon Suk-yeol's resignation in front of the National Assembly in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Park told Asia Economy, "Watching the '12·3 Emergency Martial Law Incident,' I realized that authoritarianism has not completely disappeared," and said, "I thought this really shouldn't be happening."

Mr. Jung Hyun-woo (24) pointed out, "Men in their 20s tend to believe they cannot be a minority," and added, "Unlike women or people with disabilities, there seems to be a perception that they don't necessarily have to raise their voices."

Jung said, "Every time people gathered after the announcement of the martial law, I talked about it. I was able to feel that this is an issue for all of us," and added, "I hope a world comes where people can assert their rights without hesitation."
