Producer Says "If We Are Indifferent, a Monster Will Be Born"
The documentary film "First Lady," which deals with various controversies related to First Lady Kim Keon-hee, wife of President Yoon Suk-yeol, surpassed 10,000 cumulative viewers as interest grew following the "December 3rd insurrection" caused by President Yoon on the 3rd.
According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office website on the 14th, "First Lady," which was released on the 12th, attracted 4,822 viewers on its opening day and then drew 5,934 viewers the day before, ranking 8th overall at the box office.
This documentary film covers incidents such as Kim’s luxury handbag acceptance case, the controversy over the Yangpyeong Expressway route change, and allegations of civilian interference in state affairs.

Additionally, it addresses issues that had already surfaced before President Yoon’s election, including falsification of academic background and career, plagiarism of theses, allegations of stock manipulation involving Deutsche Motors, and connections with shamans such as Cheongong.
"Seoul Voice," which has reported on Kim’s luxury handbag acceptance case and allegations of Kim Keon-hee’s interference in candidate nominations, participated in the production of this film.
Kim Hoon-tae, CEO of the production company Oneul Pictures, stated, "When we are indifferent, monsters that parasitize power are born and threaten our peaceful lives," adding, "We hope politically indifferent groups and moderates, especially young people in their 20s and 30s, watch this film without prejudice."
Meanwhile, the National Assembly will hold a plenary session this afternoon to conduct the second vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol. The first impeachment motion was discarded on the 7th due to the absence of ruling party lawmakers, resulting in an invalid vote.
The approval requirement is "two-thirds or more of the total members present." Based on 300 total members, 200 votes in favor are needed. Assuming all 192 opposition members attend and vote in favor, if 8 or more of the 108 members of the People Power Party mark "Yes (可, in favor)," the motion will pass.
