The '2024 Happy Donation Culture Campaign' hosted by Nam-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungnam Province (Head Cho Gwangsang) on the 13th to promote voluntary fundraising and the spread of a donation culture, concluded successfully.
Before the fundraising event, members of the Nam-myeon Community Security Council (Private Chairperson Byun Younggyu) attracted attention by distributing promotional items and encouraging participation in donations through street campaigns to promote the donation culture.
The campaign was joined by Taean County Governor Ko Gaero, officials from various social organizations in Nam-myeon, and local residents, who continued heartwarming acts of love and sharing for neighbors in need.

During this event, Mongsanpo Church donated 3,030,000 KRW, Cheongsan Arboretum donated 3,000,000 KRW, and four organizations?Nam-myeon Village Leaders’ Council, Saemaeul Nam-myeon Men and Women’s Council, Nam-myeon Autonomous Crime Prevention Unit, and Nam-myeon Saemaeul Credit Cooperative?each donated 1,000,000 KRW, raising a total of 34,100,000 KRW.
Additionally, Kim Sangsoo, CEO of Taean Junggi, donated 30 sacks of rice (20kg each), and Moon Jejong, a resident of Dalsan 2-ri, donated 100 sacks of rice (10kg each).
Byun Younggyu, the chairperson, said, “I deeply thank all organizations and local residents who participated in the fundraising,” and added, “With the year-end and New Year approaching, I hope more people will join the donation culture campaign so that warmth can be delivered throughout the community.”
Meanwhile, the funds and rice donated on this day will be used to support various welfare services for neighbors in need in the Nam-myeon area through the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
