Yangsan City Library Successfully Hosts City Creative Club's 'Jajaksi Recitation Meeting'

Yangsan City Library in Gyeongnam held a 'Self-Composed Poetry Recital' on the 12th at the Yangsan Jihaemaru Grand Auditorium, where members of the library's poetry creation clubs gathered to wrap up the year.

Organized by Yangsan City Library, this event is a time for club members who have learned poetry creation at the library to recite poems they have written themselves, and it has been held for three consecutive years since 2022.

This year, 17 participants from three clubs at the Jungang and Ulsang Libraries?‘Sijak (詩作)’ (instructor: poet Seong Myeong-nam), ‘Siing’ (instructor: poet Park Seong-mi), and ‘Sisikolkoll’ (instructor: poet Kim Baek)?took part. The event featured a beautiful ocarina performance and a mono poetry play by narrator Jeong Yeong-suk (Yangsan City Woollim Recitation Association), offering a rich festival of poetry with various music and attractions.

Seo Min-su, director of the City Library, said, “We will strive to help citizens find joy in life and reading at Yangsan City Library through the operation of various literary clubs.”
