On the 13th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that Seo Seong-an, CEO of Sehwa ENG Co., Ltd., donated 5 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund.

CEO Seo, a native of Hampyeong, started his business in 2006 with reinforced concrete construction and has grown by expanding into general construction and facility maintenance.

In October of this year, he completed and is currently operating a factory for manufacturing metal processed construction materials in the Bitgreen Industrial Complex in Hampyeong.

CEO Seo stated, “I learned about the Hometown Love Donation System through my childhood friend, Chairman Lee Nam-o of the Hampyeong County Council, and gladly participated in the donation with a heart wishing for the development of my hometown, Hampyeong-gun.”

Lee Sang-ik, the mayor of Hampyeong-gun, said, “We deeply thank CEO Seo Seong-an for participating in the Hometown Love Donation System with the highest personal donation amount,” and added, “Considering the year-end tax adjustment period, we ask for active participation from expatriates and those interested in Hampyeong-gun.”

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation System is a program where individuals donate to local governments to improve residents' welfare, and in return, local governments provide tax deductions and local specialty products as gifts. Through this system, local governments can expect to expand local finances and revitalize the regional economy.
