Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 13th that it held the ‘4060 One-Stop Day’ for middle-aged and senior job seekers at the permanent interview hall on the 5th floor of the Goyang Employment Welfare Plus Center on the 11th.

4060 One-Stop Day is a small-scale recruitment event targeting middle-aged and senior citizens, where the Goyang City Integrated Job Center discovers companies in need of recruitment every month and handles resume submissions and interviews on their behalf.

On this day, ahead of the opening of GTX-A in December, resumes were accepted and interviews were conducted for middle-aged and senior workers to be employed in safety management at five stations including Kintex Station. A total of 73 people attended, with 68 interviewed, demonstrating the strong employment enthusiasm among the middle-aged and senior population.

An official from the Goyang City Integrated Job Center said, “At the 2024 Goyang City Middle-Aged and Senior Job Fair held last November, about 1,700 job seekers participated. As society enters an aging phase and the retirement of the baby boomer generation coincides, interest in employment among the middle-aged and senior population is expected to continue increasing.” He added, “We plan to operate various recruitment events and programs next year to support employment for the middle-aged and senior population.”

The Goyang City Integrated Job Center supports employment for the middle-aged and senior population through customized recruitment events, new middle-aged life planning, and job camps, among other employment support programs.
