The county operates various educational programs to assist urban residents preparing to return to farming. This includes operating stay-type returnee houses with on-site farming practice education, and providing return-to-farming and rural migration education for those who have moved to Muan and young farmers, helping them settle stably.
The county also plans to promote policies next year to support agricultural startups and housing purchases for returnees. They plan to provide various support policies and information such as returnee settlement support projects, stay-type returnee house admission education, and participation in return-to-farming and rural migration fairs to assist those wishing to return to farming or migrate to rural areas.
Governor Kim San stated, “We will continue to do our best to attract population inflow by revitalizing urban resident attraction through various support policies that can help prospective return-to-farming and rural migrants.”
