It has been revealed that lawyer Bae Seung-hee and political commentator Go Seong-guk have stepped down from their respective radio programs. Both came under scrutiny for their remarks supporting President Yoon Seok-yeol's declaration of martial law.

On the 12th, lawyer Bae announced her departure on YTN Radio's "News Fighting, This is Bae Seung-hee," saying, "'Hoejajeongri (會者定離)'?where there is a meeting, there is also a parting." She added, "I believe tomorrow, Friday, will be my last broadcast with you all." Earlier, on the 4th, she uploaded a video titled "Yoon's Martial Law Declaration. What Was the Meticulous Plan?" on her YouTube channel "This is Lawyer Bae Seung-hee." In the video, Bae stated, "Regardless of which side the president chooses, I will continue to support the president to protect the current free Republic of Korea."

She further defended President Yoon's emergency martial law declaration, saying, "This martial law is something the president can constitutionally enact," and "Despite there being no illegality, the media is claiming it is illegal." In response, on the 11th, the YTN branch of the Korean Federation of Journalists' Unions criticized her, stating, "Publicly declaring support for a 'leader of a rebellion' violates journalistic ethics and tarnishes YTN's reputation."

On the same day, commentator Go Seong-guk also announced his intention to step down from KBS Radio's "Jeonggyeok Sisa." On the 9th, he held a discussion with former Broadcasting Culture Promotion Foundation chairman Go Young-joo on his YouTube channel, claiming, "Pro-North Korean and Juche factions are trying to completely destroy the free right wing by falsely accusing President Yoon of being a 'leader of a rebellion.' During the martial law process, President Yoon neither violated laws nor the constitution." He also added, "The claims coming from pro-North Korean Juche factions are being indiscriminately spread by left-leaning media, falsely branding President Yoon as a leader of a rebellion and framing the Yoon administration, the People Power Party, and free right-wing citizens as insurgents, escalating this conspiracy to its peak."

The following day, listeners flooded the "Jeonggyeok Sisa" viewer board with criticism directed at commentator Go. The Korean Broadcasting Headquarters of the National Union of Mediaworkers also issued a statement saying, "Go Seong-guk not only agrees with Yoon Seok-yeol's unconstitutional idea of illegally infiltrating the election commission with martial law troops to verify election fraud but also actively provokes the far-right to justify rebellion. How can a current affairs radio host on a public broadcaster make such absurd remarks and defend power, even if it is a personal broadcast? How can someone incapable of normal reasoning host a current affairs radio program on a public broadcaster?"
