Works completed with the delicate brushstrokes of artist Lee Sang-hyun evoke deep admiration from visitors, while Hangeul pieces infused with fashion designer Lee Sang-bong’s style present new attempts that transcend the boundaries between tradition and modernity.
The highlight of the exhibition is expected to be the special program "Writing Well-Wishes Event" on the 28th. Scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., this event offers visitors the opportunity to receive messages of hope and encouragement directly from the artists in stylish calligraphy. Visitors can take home calligraphy of their names or cherished words, experiencing the warmth of Hangeul.
Mo Eun-young, chairperson of Calligraphy Design Group Eoullim, stated, “This exhibition is an important event that widely promotes the artistry and excellence of Hangeul,” adding, "The participation of various fields will serve as an opportunity to newly highlight the value of Hangeul."
The exhibition has become a cultural experience that instills new inspiration and pride in Hangeul among visitors, beyond mere viewing. Above all, it is highly regarded for greatly contributing to widely promoting the sentiment of the Republic of Korea by encompassing both tradition and modernity based on the sculptural beauty and emotional appeal of Hangeul.
The exhibition will continue until January 12, 2025, and is open to anyone who loves Hangeul.
