After concluding the party meeting that day, Yoon met with reporters and shared his thoughts on President Yoon's address and Han's demand for a party stance on impeachment.

Regarding the address, Yoon stated, "During the emergency inquiry, I mentioned the conditions required to establish the crime of insurrection, but I do not believe this applies here," and argued, "We need to debate whether this martial law is a highly political act." On the topic of impeaching President Yoon, he said, "Now is not the time to impeach the president," adding, "We should all discuss the proposal made by the task force for political stabilization and make a final decision."

About Han, he said, "I am truly baffled whether the party is only talking about Han personally," and explained, "The delegation of plans for political stabilization, including the term of office, was entrusted not to an individual but to the party's general assembly and supreme council. Such delegation was to entrust measures for political stabilization, not to delegate the operation of government." He emphasized that the president's announcement of the address being entrusted to the party does not contradict previous addresses.

Regarding Han's demand for 'party consensus' on President Yoon's impeachment, Yoon criticized, "They are pushing for a party stance without asking the party or discussing it in the general assembly."
