Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun on Yoon's Statement: "He Must Be Pulled Down from His Position Immediately"

Lee Jae-jun, the mayor of Suwon, expressed his dismay at President Yoon Seok-yeol's statement, saying it was "beyond belief."

On the 12th, Mayor Lee posted on his social media (SNS), criticizing, "The president's statement is beyond belief" and added, "He is not in his right mind."

He continued, "Even two days is too long," and added, "He must be removed from his position immediately."

Mayor Lee is scheduled to hold a solo protest at Suwon Station at 6:30 PM that day.

In his national address, President Yoon Seok-yeol claimed, "The exercise of the president's emergency martial law declaration authority is a political act that is not subject to judicial review, similar to the exercise of pardon authority or diplomatic authority."
