Goryeong-gun Conducts First Basic Live Commerce Training Session

The Agricultural Technology Center of Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk, conducted basic live commerce training for 45 farmers on the 11th.

This training was organized to help farmers understand the new distribution method through live commerce as part of efforts to develop sales channels for agricultural products.

In particular, show host Jeong Mu-rin served as the instructor, enlivening the training by teaching effective marketing techniques through real-time broadcasting.

Live commerce is a non-face-to-face sales method that has rapidly grown in recent years and quickly popularized alongside the spread of online shopping after COVID-19.

It is gaining attention as a powerful marketing tool because it allows consumers and sellers to communicate in real time and build trust in products. Accordingly, the Goryeong-gun Agricultural Technology Center planned live commerce training to help farmers keep up with new distribution trends.

Participants learned basic broadcasting skills and communication methods with consumers, acquiring ways to effectively sell the agricultural products they produce online.

Starting with this basic training, plans are in place to progressively conduct beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses tailored to the farmers' skill levels. The Agricultural Technology Center aims to cultivate farmers' ability to operate live commerce through practice-centered education, thereby expanding sales channels for agricultural products and contributing to income increase.

County Governor Lee Nam-cheol stated, “We will continue to provide education so that farmers can learn new distribution methods and gain competitiveness in the online market,” adding, “We will prepare various programs to activate agricultural product sales using live commerce and increase farmers' profits.”
