Scheduled to be held for 5 days from October 8 to 12, 2025
Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has quickly begun preparations for the 11th ImsilN Cheese Festival next year, following the great success of this year's event.
According to the county on the 12th, the ImsilN Cheese Festival Organizing Committee held a temporary general meeting the day before at the Jijeonghwan Hall in Imsil Cheese Theme Park, attended by about 30 people including committee members, the agency in charge, and policy research contractors.

At the meeting, they reviewed the results of the 2024 ImsilN Cheese Festival, which was successfully held over four days from October 3 to 6 at Imsil Cheese Theme Park, Imsil Cheese Village, and the Imsil-eup area. They also received a report from the policy research contractors. Through in-depth discussions among the organizing committee members, it was finally decided and approved that next year’s festival will be held for five days from October 8 to 12. This will be the first time the ImsilN Cheese Festival is held over five days.
With the festival schedule confirmed at the temporary general meeting, the county plans to promptly proceed with detailed execution plans such as selecting the agency, aiming to prepare the 2025 ImsilN Cheese Festival as a safer and more enjoyable cultural tourism and industrial festival without any setbacks.
This year’s 10th ImsilN Cheese Festival attracted approximately 580,000 visitors nationwide, setting a record high and reaffirming its reputation as “the ever-reliable ImsilN Cheese Festival.” During the festival period, sales reached 2.45 billion KRW, significantly contributing to increasing local residents’ income and revitalizing the regional economy.
County Governor Sim Min said, “Despite many festivals being held simultaneously across the province this year, we are very grateful that even more tourists visited the 10th ImsilN Cheese Festival than last year,” adding, “Next year, we will prepare even newer and more special programs to showcase the unique charm of Imsil to many people.”
