Park Chandae "So ugly it's disgusting"
Progressive Party "Sedition... Shut up"
Justice Party "Hard to hold back double curses"
On the morning of the 12th, President Yoon Suk-yeol issued a statement criticizing opposition parties including the Democratic Party, prompting strong backlash from the opposition.
Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party, posted a brief comment on his personal SNS immediately after President Yoon's statement, saying, "It's not just ugly, it's disgusting." President Yoon emphasized the inevitability of declaring martial law in his statement, and Park strongly criticized this explanation as "disgusting." No Jong-myeon, the party's floor spokesperson, also referred to the statement as a "mad rant" and "nonsense." No further pointed out toward the ruling People Power Party, "Pro-Yoon (Pro-Yoon Suk-yeol) lawmakers can only be defined as collaborators in the rebellion."

Park Ju-min, a lawmaker, wrote on Facebook, "There is no choice but to say he is crazy," adding, "President Yoon, lost in delusion, is very dangerous." He further stated, "Today's statement was a longer version of the declaration of emergency martial law," emphasizing, "The forces disrupting the constitutional order are none other than you (President Yoon)." Park Ji-won, a five-term senior lawmaker and the oldest member of the National Assembly, said, "Yoon Suk-yeol is still crazy," and "We cannot entrust the presidency and military command to a madman even for a second." He went on to say, "The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials and the police should immediately arrest the rebel ringleader, President Yoon Suk-yeol."
Yoon Jong-oh, floor leader of the Progressive Party, stated, "Today's statement was a pathetic excuse to cover up his wrong judgment and avoid legal punishment," adding, "He is inciting rebellion. Shut your mouth immediately." The Justice Party, an extraparliamentary party, issued an urgent statement with a strong tone, saying, "It is hard to hold back from cursing," and "It felt like watching far-right YouTube."
