"Going to the rally? Feel free to bring diapers"… Mom who rented a 'Kids Bus'

"Spent All Travel Expenses for Child's 500-Day Celebration"

A mother raising a 16-month-old child revealed that she rented a 'Kids Bus' for the convenience of infants and toddlers participating in the rally calling for the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, drawing attention.

On the 12th, a poster announcing the operation of a 'Kids Bus for infants, toddlers, and guardians participating in the Yoon Seok-yeol impeachment candlelight rally' was shared on various online communities. This bus is scheduled to operate near the candlelight rally site on the 14th, when the vote on the second impeachment motion against President Yoon is expected to take place.

The operating hours are from 1 PM to 9 PM, running around the National Assembly building in Yeouido, Seoul. Ms. A, who rented the bus, said, "I used the travel budget for my child's 500-day celebration to rent the bus," adding, "Last Saturday, there was no place to change diapers, and my child found it hard to stay held for a long time, so we went home early." The protest she referred to last week appears to be the candlelight rally held near the National Assembly building on the 7th.

She continued, "I hesitated to go twice to the protest, but then thought, what kind of trip can I take in this situation anyway?" and explained the reason for renting the bus: "Let's at least get some fresh air and comfortably change diapers for those in the same situation (and our children)."

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Korea announced the day before that the vote on the second impeachment motion against President Yoon would be held at 5 PM on Saturday the 14th in the plenary session of the National Assembly. The approval of the impeachment motion requires the support of two-thirds of the total members of the National Assembly. In other words, more than 200 members must vote in favor. The first vote failed to be established because fewer members than required participated in the vote.
