Chaebi Awarded the 'Export Tower' at the 61st Trade Day Ceremony

Chaebi (CEO Younghoon Choi), the No.1 domestic electric vehicle fast charging CPO company, announced on the 12th that it received the Export Tower award in recognition of its contribution to expanding exports of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and pioneering overseas markets on the occasion of the 61st Trade Day hosted by the Korea International Trade Association.

The Export Tower is an award given by the Korea International Trade Association and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to companies that have contributed to pioneering overseas markets, expanding exports, and creating jobs. Chaebi (formerly Daeyoung Chaebi) was recognized for strengthening export competitiveness in the global market based on innovative charging technology and contributing to national economic development.

At the 61st Trade Day, in addition to Chaebi, SK Hynix (Vice President Sangrak Lee), Samsung Electronics (Vice President Yoon Jung), LG Electronics (Vice President Ikhwan Jang), Classys (CEO Seunghan Baek), and others received industrial medals, while Professor Jaemin Lee of Seoul National University, Executive Director Cheolwook Baek of Hyundai Construction, Chairman Myungsoo Kang of the Korea Standards Association, and others were awarded commendation and industrial decorations. These awards recognized companies and individuals who made significant contributions to pioneering overseas export routes despite difficult external trade conditions.

Since its establishment in May 2016, Chaebi has built a unique position in the electric vehicle fast charging market and quickly established itself as the No.1 domestic fast charging CPO company. Chaebi has built approximately 6,700 fast charging stations, recording the largest scale in Korea, and is the only domestic CPO to continuously expand more than 1,500 fast charging stations for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024, maintaining a stable growth trend. Chaebi is solidifying its market-leading position not only through volume expansion but also by providing an optimal charging station layout considering accessibility and convenience for electric vehicle users, and by offering innovative charging experiences such as Chaebi Stay, an urban complex charging culture space.

The foundation of Chaebi’s outstanding CPO performance lies in its excellent R&D capabilities. Chaebi realizes differentiation in the market through a product lineup and customized solutions targeting various customer groups such as B2G, B2B, B2C, and B2X, and firmly holds the No.1 position in the industry based on its electric vehicle charging development and manufacturing capabilities.

Based on these manufacturing capabilities, Chaebi is achieving continuous growth in overseas markets and expanding its presence in the global electric vehicle charging market. Having entered the global market in 2022, Chaebi grew its sales to 7 billion KRW in 2023 based on its first-year achievements, laying the foundation for a full-scale leap forward. Moreover, it has secured large-scale supply contracts centered on North America, currently the largest charging infrastructure market, including the Middle East and Asia, and plans to accelerate overseas sales growth through strengthening global partnerships, localization strategies, and a competitive product lineup.

Chaebi CEO Younghoon Choi said, “I believe this award is a recognition of the company’s innovative technology and competitiveness in the global market,” adding, “As the No.1 domestic electric vehicle fast charging CPO company, Chaebi will take the lead in building a sustainable electric vehicle fast charging ecosystem by strengthening technological innovation and global partnerships in the global market.”
