Real User Han Ga-in's One-Month Review of 'Easydew Cushion'
"After having my second child, I started getting melasma. When I use this, it feels like the melasma areas become whiter."
Actress Han Ga-in shared this comment while introducing the cushion pact she uses on her YouTube channel. The cushion pact Han Ga-in took out of her bag in the video is 'Mela B Toning Ampoule Cushion' from the cosmetics brand 'Easydew.' This product combines Easydew's 'Melasma Ampoule' with a cushion format.
Easydew is a brand created based on the pharmaceutical technology of Daewoong Pharmaceutical, which has developed wound healing substances (EGF) into medicines. Han Ga-in, who prefers pharmaceutical company products (derma cosmetics), was reportedly chosen as the brand model after actually using the product. She evaluated, "I usually feel guilty because makeup might not be good for my skin, but since it contains melasma ampoule, it feels good and I noticed the effects."
Summarizing her review after using it for the past month in one word would be 'ambiguous.' Although she did not experience dramatic effects such as the disappearance of dark spots (melasma) and blemishes visible on her face, the ampoule seemed to make the skin moist after application.
Easydew launched the Mela B Toning Melasma Ampoule Cushion on September 30. After selling over 10 million bottles of the melasma ampoule released in May last year within 1 year and 5 months, word of mouth spread among consumers, leading to the launch of a cushion containing the same ingredients. The newly introduced cushion emphasizes that users can simultaneously feel 'melasma coverage' and 'improvement effects.' The melasma ampoule protects the skin during the day, helping to improve melasma and blemishes. Over two months, this product recorded total sales of 2 billion KRW. The manufacturer of the product is Cosmax.
The first impression of the product was not much different from regular cushion products. It had a round shape with a striking bright green color. When opening the product, small bumps on the left lid were noticeable. These bumps allow users to control the amount of cosmetics by pressing the sponge with the puff and adjusting through the bumps. The product comes in three shades: No. 21 Fair, Natural, and No. 23 Beige. The product the reporter used was No. 21 Fair. The moment the first puff touched the face, the moisture was immediately felt. It helped keep the face from drying out during autumn and winter days.
However, it did not perfectly cover other blemishes. Whether the melasma under the skin improves remains to be seen, but it was difficult to expect immediate visible effects. As Han Ga-in suggested, to achieve visible results, it might be necessary to use both the melasma ampoule and the cushion together.
