Gyeonggi-do to Hold Preliminary Briefing on Next Year's Customized Job Opportunities for Disabled People

Gyeonggi Province will hold a preliminary briefing session for next year's customized job contest project for people with disabilities.


On the 12th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold a preliminary briefing session on the 17th at the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Welfare Comprehensive Support Center for disability organizations and non-profit private organizations in the province ahead of the implementation of the '2025 Customized Job Contest Project for People with Disabilities.'


The customized job contest project for people with disabilities is a program that provides tailored job support and labor opportunities according to the type and severity of disability. It supports the independence of people with disabilities in the province within the local community through vocational training support and direct job provision.

This year, there are 38 institutions carrying out the project, including 4 by disability type and 34 focusing on rights-centered approaches.


At this preliminary briefing session, the agenda includes ▲ an overview of next year's customized job contest project for people with disabilities ▲ explanation of major changes for next year ▲ guidance on how to prepare the project plan (draft) for contest selection.


The briefing session is open to disability organizations, corporations, or cooperatives located in the province. One to two representatives per institution or organization can attend, and those wishing to participate must apply in advance by the 16th to ensure smooth proceedings.
