On the 11th, Yang Jun-hyuk shared a photo on his SNS account holding his baby in the delivery room along with his wife.


Along with the photo, Yang Jun-hyuk said, "Finally, at 55 years old, I have become a father. I am so happy to have my first child born late, and the world looks different."


He continued, "I have been running tirelessly until now, but a new goal has emerged. From now on, I will sprint full speed for my family. I will raise my beautiful daughter well. Thank you all for the many congratulations."


Born in 1969, Yang Jun-hyuk is currently 55 years old. He married his wife Park Hyun-sun, who is 19 years younger, in 2021.


Later, through SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' aired in August, Yang Jun-hyuk announced the news of his second child after three years of marriage, receiving many congratulations.


At that time, responding to the outpouring of congratulatory messages, Yang Jun-hyuk said, "Since this child was born in my mid-fifties, he is very precious and joyful, and I am truly grateful for the interest and congratulations from many people." He added, "I will raise Palpal-i (the baby's nickname) vigorously. Thank you, my wife," expressing his feelings as a new father.

Yang Jun-hyuk is a legendary player of the professional baseball team Samsung Lions, known as ‘Yangshin’ and a leading figure in Korean baseball. After retirement, he has been active as a commentator for MBC Sports Plus and in various entertainment programs.
