The research project by the Guri Future Development Research Association, aimed at diagnosing and advancing private consignment affairs, began with a kickoff meeting in September. Director Kang Han-ok and researcher Kim Yong-seok from the Local Autonomy Development Center jointly conducted research activities to diagnose the current status of Guri City's consigned affairs and derive improvement plans.
The final report meeting presented the results of the research activities conducted so far, analyzing the overall status of Guri City's private consignment affairs and proposing improvement measures including strengthening the functions and roles of the private consignment general department, enhancing accounting transparency, conducting substantive performance evaluations, reinforcing the role of the council, and protecting the rights and interests of private consignment workers.
Yang Kyung-ae, the representative council member, expressed her gratitude, saying, "I thank my fellow council members and researchers who have worked hard for the development of Guri City's private consignment affairs," and added, "Although the project tasks conclude with today's report meeting, the research results will become a valuable asset for both the Guri City Council and Guri City."
Meanwhile, the Guri Future Development Research Association includes Representative Yang Kyung-ae, Vice Chairman Kim Seong-tae, Operations Committee Chair Jeong Eun-cheol, and Council Member Kwon Bong-su as active members. The final report of the project will be announced later on the Guri City Council website.
