Operates from the 21st until February 2 next year
The 'Winter Theme Park,' a representative winter play space in Seosan, Chungnam, is set to open on the 21st, and preparations are in full swing.
According to the city on the 11th, the Winter Theme Park will be held at 687 Wangjeong-ri, Seongyeon-myeon from the 21st until February 2 next year. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and until 8 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.
The Winter Theme Park features a 1,800㎡ ice rink, a 600㎡ ice tube slide, a snow playground, as well as convenience facilities such as a snack bar and restrooms.
In addition, 300 parking spaces have been prepared, and for the first time this year, figure skating lessons will also be offered.
Admission is free, and the usage fee for the ice rink and ice tube slide is 2,000 won each, while figure skating costs 4,000 won. If you use your own equipment, the ice rink fee is only 1,000 won.
The Winter Theme Park will be closed every Monday and during inclement weather.
The city plans to conduct safety checks and ice maintenance every hour during operating hours and to station safety personnel throughout the facility for the safety of citizens.
Lee Wanseop, Mayor of Seosan, said, "We are thoroughly preparing and inspecting every corner of the facility to create a newer and safer play environment than last year," and added, "I hope you make precious memories with your family at the Winter Theme Park this year as well."
Meanwhile, last year's Winter Theme Park attracted about 100,000 visitors and received a great response.
