The documentary film "First Lady" is set to be released on the 12th, Seoul Voice and Oneul Pictures announced on the 11th.

The film explains that it covers stories about First Lady Kim Geon-hee, including the Dior bag incident, the Yangpyeong Expressway route change, and allegations of civilian interference in state affairs. It also introduces the film as "pointing to First Lady Kim as the central figure connecting all suspicions and asking who the real VIP of the Yongsan Presidential Office is," describing it as "the substantive story of the First Lady of the Republic of Korea, called VIP2."

The production company revealed that Pastor Choi Jae-young, who delivered the Dior bag, Seoul Voice reporter Lee Myung-soo, who spoke with First Lady Kim Geon-hee for over seven hours during the 20th presidential election, and Chairman Jung Dae-taek, who has been involved in lawsuits with the Kim family for over ten years, appear in the film. They stated, "Before President Yoon’s election, issues such as Kim Geon-hee’s forged academic background and career, plagiarism of papers, allegations of stock manipulation involving Deutsche Motors, and connections with shamans including Cheongong are also addressed through various interviews."

The planned National Assembly screening before the release was canceled. Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Jun-hyuk said, "The National Assembly Secretariat notified that the screening of 'First Lady' at the National Assembly was not approved," adding, "It is understood that the People Power Party strongly opposed the screening during the venue approval process, leading to the disapproval." He also questioned, "Why is it possible to screen a film praising Park Chung-hee in the National Assembly, but not a film criticizing Kim Geon-hee?"

Kim Hoon-tae, CEO of the production company Oneul Pictures, said, "There are concerns about invisible pressure from power due to political risks," and added, "We hope politically indifferent and moderate groups, especially young people in their 20s and 30s, will watch the film without prejudice."
