Pocheon-si Holds Policy Meeting on Hantangang Tourism Development Plan

Mayor Baek Young-hyun: "I will make Pocheon Hantangang the center of tourism in Korea"

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 11th that it held a meeting on the Hantangang River tourism development plan and Pocheon City tourism policy in the city administration meeting room on the 9th.

At the meeting, experts in culture, sports, and tourism, including Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City, discussed current issues of the Hantangang River tourism development plan and directions for tourism policy development, and explored ways to attract tourists.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun explained the current status of Hantangang River development, ecological tourism facilities, experiential tourism facilities, and future development plans for the Hantangang River to policy experts and listened to their suggestions.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City said, “Based on the various opinions gathered at this meeting, we will establish feasible plans to make Pocheon Hantangang River a leading tourism hub representing South Korea.”
