Yeongdeok-gun Distributes 1,000 Copies of 2025 Local Tax Promotional Desk Calendars

Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will produce 1,000 copies of a 2025 desk calendar for local tax promotion and distribute them on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 11th at the county office's Finance Department and each eup/myeon office.

The calendar includes information on the payment periods for local and national taxes, making it easier for taxpayers to know the tax payment deadlines. It also contains information about the Village Tax Accountant System and the Hometown Love Donation Program.

In particular, the Hometown Love Donation Program encourages donations by providing tax credit benefits and return gifts to those who contribute to their hometown.

Yeongdeok-gun has inserted QR codes in the calendar so that taxpayers can easily check the latest tax schedules. It also includes detailed information on local taxes and contact details for the Finance Department staff, enabling quick and convenient consultations when needed.

Park Eun-jeong, head of the Finance Department, stated, “We planned the calendar production to enhance accessibility and convenience to useful information such as the tax system and payment periods, so that residents can easily make and implement plans.” She added, “We will contribute to establishing stable local finances by increasing understanding of taxes and resolving taxpayers’ inconveniences.”
