The premium pizza brand ‘7beonga Pizza’ announced that it has appointed chef ‘Edward Lee,’ who appeared on the Netflix cooking survival show ‘Black & White Chef,’ as its exclusive brand model.
Edward Lee is a Korean-American chef who won the 8th season of the famous American cooking survival show 'Iron Chef America' in 2010 and is well-known as a guest chef at the White House state dinner during the 2023 Korea-US summit.
7beonga Pizza is famous for its fermented grain dough. Edward Lee is also known to have a great interest in Korean fermented foods. His dishes often use ingredients such as gochujang, kimchi, and aged kimchi, skillfully combining Korean and American flavors. Additionally, he has a deep understanding of fermentation cuisine, having written and starred in the 2017 documentary film
7beonga Pizza plans to introduce collaborative menus with Edward Lee and carry out various marketing activities. Edward Lee, as the exclusive model for 7beonga Pizza, will also approach customers through diverse content centered on the theme of pizza.
Edward Lee said, “I love pizza so much that I eat it at least two to three times a week,” and added, “It is meaningful to take on the challenge of developing new Korean-style pizza menus at 7beonga Pizza, a Korean brand rather than a global one.”
