Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) continues a warm chain of sharing for neighbors in need. On the 10th, the district received winter warmth donations and goods from the Residents' Autonomy Committees and held a delivery ceremony.
First, the district received about 6.1 million won in donations collected from the Green Sharing Market sales profits and sponsorships from members of the Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee (Chairman Seo Mu-hyeon).
Next, the Myeonmok 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee (Chairman Shim Yong-moon) also donated about 2 million won for a warm winter, practicing love for neighbors.
The received donations will be entrusted to the Seoul Social Welfare Community Chest and used to support low-income households in the region.
Additionally, the National Public Myeongin Daycare Center participated in the sharing chain by donating 1 million won from the proceeds of bazaars held independently in the first and second halves of the year.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “The donations and goods sent will be a great help for neighbors in need to spend a rich and warm winter,” and added, “I sincerely thank the Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, Myeonmok 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, and the staff of the National Public Myeongin Daycare Center for their warm hearts.”
