AI Korea awarded '30 Million Dollar Export Tower'... "3 consecutive years of achievement, proving steep growth"

The 'Trade Day' event, hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is held annually to award the 'Export Tower' to companies that have contributed to pioneering overseas markets and increasing exports based on their performance.

Founded in 2003, AI Korea demonstrated rapid growth by winning the 10 Million Dollar Export Tower in 2022, the 20 Million Dollar Export Tower in 2023, and this year the 30 Million Dollar Export Tower, marking three consecutive years of awards.

AI Korea succeeded in pioneering the European market in 2019 through the world's first developed secondary battery 'Central Electrolyte Supply System (CESS).' Along with the emergence of the global secondary battery market, it expanded its export regions to the United States in 2021.

During the same period, AI Korea also began achieving remarkable results in the Southeast Asian market by supplying atmospheric pressure plasma dry cleaning equipment to the Vietnamese subsidiary of a domestic global display company.

In fact, AI Korea started with export performance of $5,000 in 2015, then recorded $440,000 in 2018, $4.31 million in 2019, $12 million in 2021, and $20 million in 2022, continuing its ultra-fast growth.

In particular, with the expansion of exports to North America and Europe by the domestic top three secondary battery companies, AI Korea plans to further expand product supply to global joint ventures (JVs) such as 'Starplus Energy' and the largest domestic automaker and cell makers, so the export scale is expected to increase further.

Additionally, on the same day, CEO An Jin-ho of AI Korea received a presidential citation in recognition of his contribution to the development of the domestic semiconductor, display, and secondary battery industries and the national economy through differentiated technology in cleaning equipment and secondary battery fields.

CEO An said, "We have established subsidiaries in the United States, Hungary, and Poland to quickly respond to overseas markets and customer demands, thereby enhancing export competitiveness," adding, "Our technology is continuously recognized by major global companies, leading to ongoing expansion of overseas orders."

He continued, "We will lead corporate growth and elevate national prestige by continuing innovative technology and product development in secondary batteries, semiconductors, displays, and especially the hydrogen sector using ammonia," and added, "We will leap forward as a global leading company in advanced equipment and precision process automation."
