Yeonggwi Seowon is a shrine built in 1564 to commemorate the scholarship and integrity of Kim Inhu, the magistrate of Ok-gwa, and has reached the present day through destruction and reconstruction. The exact date is confirmed on the outer beam inscription of the Yeonggwi Shrine, and the foundation stones are original dressed stones, showing formality. Although it was reconstructed in the mid-1900s, it retains its traditional style and hierarchy, making it significant.

Guamsa Temple was first established in 1799 as a shrine dedicated to the four sages of the Cheongsong Sim clan. It was destroyed in 1868, a memorial stele was erected in 1906, and the shrine was reconstructed after the 1950s. It is a major cultural heritage historically linked with the Gokseong Jehojeong Old House, a national folk cultural heritage built by Sim Gwang-hyeong nearby, and the scenic area of Hamheojeong.

The filial son Shin Hong-gu’s Jeongnyeo (memorial arch) contains two plaques inside?the Myeongjeong plaque and the Jeongnyeogi plaque?that confirm the history of receiving the filial son memorial arch. Additionally, in Gi U-man’s "Songsajip," there is the "Record of the Reconstruction of the Memorial Arch for the Deceased Inspector Shin," which reveals that the memorial arch was reconstructed in 1899, giving it value as a local cultural heritage.

Mugoksa Temple is said to have enshrined Jo Won-gil as the main deity and Jo Dae-seong and Jeong So according to the beam inscription and commemorative writings passed down in the clan in 1955. Jo Won-gil, the main deity, was a first-class meritorious subject who enthroned King Gongyang and was titled Okcheon Buwongun. Along with Yi Saek, he is a historical figure known as Oeun, making this place significant as a shrine dedicated to him.

Jo Sang-rae, the governor of Gokseong-gun, said, “We will continue to actively discover and designate local cultural heritages to create opportunities to inform future generations of their value and will also strive for their preservation and management. We ask for the interest and cooperation of the residents so that precious cultural heritages can be discovered.”
