Yoon Byung-hyun, Standing Auditor of the Korea Racing Authority, received the 'Best Auditor Award' on the 10th at the '2024 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference' hosted by the Korea Public Institution Auditors Association. The Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference is an event that discovers the achievements of chief auditors and internal audit organizations of public institutions, and the Best Auditor Award is given to exemplary auditors who have contributed to innovation in audit strategies, ethical management, and the spread of a culture of integrity.
Commissioner Yoon established the vision of "Auditing that breaks down prejudice against corruption and lays the foundation for integrity" and has been promoting a 'mid- to long-term audit strategy' focusing on ▲strengthening audit capabilities ▲advancing internal control ▲managing key risks ▲establishing a proper audit culture. This award was highly evaluated in areas such as establishing a transparent and fair audit system centered on the audit office, spreading a culture of integrity, and organizational culture innovation based on internal control.
Commissioner Yoon said, "I am pleased that various efforts, including strengthening the internal control system to prevent the occurrence of fraud and misconduct in advance and taking the lead in spreading a culture of integrity, have been recognized," and added, "This award is the result achieved together by all executives and employees."
