On the 10th, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that the MetLife Life Social Contribution Foundation delivered 2 million won in medical expenses per person to five firefighters in the province who are battling cancer.

On the same day, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters held a ceremony for delivering medical expenses to the cancer-stricken firefighters sponsored by the foundation at the Fire Promotion Hall in the headquarters director's office.
MetLife Life, together with the foundation, raised the sponsorship funds through the ‘Mini Insurance Donation Campaign,’ where its employees donate 10,000 won per insurance subscription. On this day, a total of 10 million won was delivered as medical expenses, 2 million won each, to five firefighters in the province who are fighting a difficult battle against illness.
Cho Sun-ho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, said, "We expect that the firefighters who are struggling with their illness will gain a little more strength through this support."
