Jin Manseong, Standing Auditor of Korea Student Aid Foundation, Honored with 'Best Auditor Award' at 'Public Institution Auditors Conference'

The Korea Student Aid Foundation announced that Jin Man-seong, Standing Auditor, received the 'Best Auditor Award' selected by the Korea Public Institution Auditors Association at the '2024 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference' held at the Kangwon Land Grand Hotel on the 9th.


The Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference, hosted by the Korea Public Institution Auditors Association, is an event that discovers and shares excellent achievements of chief auditors and internal audit organizations of public institutions. The 'Best Auditor Award' is given to auditors who have greatly contributed to the status and development of auditing work in public institutions, promoted ethical management and the spread of a culture of integrity, and served as exemplary auditors.

On this day, Standing Auditor Jin Man-seong was honored with the Best Auditor Award in recognition of his efforts such as improving the corruption cause diagnosis tool, deriving and inspecting five key management areas, fostering a culture of reporting activation through the maintenance of ethical standards, providing management recommendations and encouraging proactive administration based on independent status and expertise, establishing a digital technology-based audit system, and preventing financial accidents in advance through mock audits.


Jin Man-seong, Standing Auditor of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, “Since taking office as the foundation’s standing auditor, I have been particularly interested in building the foundation’s internal control system focused on prevention. I feel proud that the various efforts made for the effective operation of the internal control system have been recognized,” and added, “Going forward, I will actively utilize digital technology-based audit techniques and advance the internal control system to effectively support the achievement of the institution’s management goals and fulfill my role as the best auditor.”


Meanwhile, the Korea Student Aid Foundation achieved a triple crown, including the grand prize for the 2024 Social Value Realization Institution Award, at the ‘2024 Korea Auditors Conference’ hosted by the Korea Auditors Association on November 28 last year.
